Dr Ramanathan Kasivisvanathan
Ramanathan (Nathan for short) Kasivisvanathan is the Head of Anaesthesia and Perioperative Medicine for the Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust a post he was appointed to in 2018. He has had a number of leadership and regulatory positions including the trust’s Guardian of Safe Working, Lead for perioperative services and previously working for the GMC as an anaesthesia performance assessment officer. He was chosen for the Inguinal Imperial College Academic Health Sciences Leadership Programme and graduated with merit from this programme in 2017. He has an interest in perioperative medicine and high risk surgery having lead a number a number of service and quality improvement projects which have been recognised by national awards or grants. He sits on the board of National Perioperative Medicine Clinical Trials (POM CTN) Committee.
