College Representatives
College Representatives
Regional advisers anaesthesia (RAA) and their Deputies (DRA) represent the views of the College in relevant matters within their regions. They work closely with Postgraduate Deans, serve on the relevant local committees, and advise the president or council on aspects of training and anaesthetic standards within their local regions. RAAs may also sit on other College Committees.
College tutors (CT) act as educational leads for anaesthetic training within their department and ensure that the educational, pastoral and career planning needs of trainees are being addressed. They implement, monitor and improve the training programme in conjunction with the director of medical education (DME) or equivalent, deanery and RAA.
