Dr Ann Shearer

Ann retired as a dentist in 2018 and is now a jewellery designer and maker. During her dental career she held posts in dental schools and hospitals in London, Newcastle, Bristol, Manchester and Dundee.  Latterly she worked for NHS Education for Scotland with responsibility for dentists in training and for the funding for dental undergraduate programmes.  Throughout her dental career she was actively involved in the development of curricula, examinations and assessments at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
