Our in-person airway workshops provide you with the opportunity to obtain, maintain and enhance difficult airway management skills within a small group teaching environment. Supportive and expert faculty provide a hands-on and interactive approach to learning, enabling you to learn and practice core technical and non-technical skills including:

  • flexible bronchoscopy
  • supraglottic airway devices
  • awake tracheal intubation
  • videolaryngoscopy
  • emergency front-of-neck access (eFONA)
  • airway guidelines.

Appropriate for all grades of anaesthetists in training, specialty doctors and consultants.

Pricing Terms and Conditions

Payment must be made at the time of booking unless otherwise stated. The RCoA, FICM and FPM are unable to hold places on events without payment. Credit or debit card payments must be made online via our card payment handler Stripe, or by phone. We do not accept purchase orders or raise invoices for places on our events. 

Discounts are available for some membership types at the rates stated above. You must be eligible for the discount both at the time of the booking and at the time of the event itself. We may ask for proof of your member status at any point. If you are unable to prove your entitlement to the discount we may charge you the full event rate, or invite you to update your membership status accordingly. In such a situation we may withhold access to the event until your updated payment clears, or your new membership status is confirmed.

Speakers

Dr Ravi Bhagrath
Clinical Content Lead

Dr Ravi Bhagrath is a Consultant Anaesthetist at Barts Health NHS Trust with a particular interest in anaesthesia for ENT surgery and cancer pre-assessment.

Ravi is a previous FRCA examiner and for the past 15 years has led on airway workshop teaching and training at the College. He teaches and lectures locally, regionally and internationally.

Ravi is a member of the Difficult Airway Society (DAS), a previous committee member and is currently their Honorary Secretary. He co-authored the 2015 DAS guidelines for management of unanticipated difficult intubation in adults, and the 2019 guidelines for awake tracheal intubation (ATI) in adults.
