Supervised Learning Events (SLEs) for LLP users
SLEs should be used by anaesthetists in training and trainers to promote professional educational discussions and guide future learning, with the emphasis on feedback. Developmental conversations that enhance the improvement in performance that comes with repeated cycles of experience, reflection, conceptualisation, and application. Feedback should include both the specialty specific and generic professional aspects of performance.
SLEs are approved by assessors chosen on the form. They can be sent for agreement, or have it approved with quick approval if the assessor is next to you.
Once an assessment has been approved it is locked for editing. In order to make any edits, including changing any Key Capabilities, the form will need to be returned to draft, removing any approvals or sign-offs. The form will need to be re-sent for approval after the changes.

HALO:
When a SLE or Personal Activity is linked to a domain, a HALO is automatically created, placing the Learner’s HALO "in progress." This status simply indicates that evidence has been attached—it does not differ from "not started" in terms of functionality.
Once the Learner meets the requirements of the domain, the HALO is automatically sent to the Assessor for review. If the Learner wishes to delete the HALO, they can do so by scrolling to the bottom of the HALO page and selecting the delete option
