Janet Moss

After graduating from Leeds University with a degree in Mathematics, Janet joined the Government Statistical Service where she worked on RPI development. She left the Civil Service to train as an Actuary, qualifying as a Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries in 2003.

With an interest in education and maintaining standards she served as an examiner for the Actuarial profession exams. She now volunteers as a member of the profession’s adjudication and disciplinary panels; and as a lay member of the Law Society of Scotland’s Appeals and Reviews and Professional Conduct Sub-committees.
