James Ingram
James Ingram has 15 years professional experience in the UK and internationally leading policy, public affairs, campaigning, strategic communications, research, and frontline work in the non-profit, social enterprise, and diplomatic/ intergovernmental sectors. This has been on a broad range of themes across human rights, humanitarian, and social justice issues, advocating with and for individuals and communities to influence positive change.
His volunteering has mostly focused on support to refugees and migrant organisations, Holocaust education, and grant-making/ community development with underserved Jewish communities across the diaspora.
James is disabled, having been diagnosed with a rare bone disease soon after becoming a parent. His lived experience of disability, and marginalisation and discrimination as an ethnic and religious minority underpin his commitment to Equality, Diversity and Inclusion, on which he is proud to be tasked with delivering improvements for patients and the College over the coming years.
He lives in London with his wife, two small kids, stacks of unread books, and plants which could do with far more attention.
