National Clinical Impact Awards (NCIA) 2024
The National Clinical Impact Awards (NCIA) for consultants in England and Wales are designed to recognise clinicians who lead the way in the provision and improvement of patient care, demonstrating national impact by going above and beyond their roles. Details and information can be found on the DHSC website.
Previously applicants had the option to secure a citation and ranking from the RCoA or other professional organisations in support of their application. ACCIA will no longer require these in their assessments for the 2024 scheme as outlined previously, so applicants will no longer be expected to obtain a ranking and citation from a Royal College as part of their submission.
- The deadline for submitting applications is 5pm on 15 April 2024. The full 2024 timetable can be found here.
- Applications should be made directly to ACCIA using the NCIA portal.
Contact and College Support
Please do contact us directly should you have any further questions or queries. The College will also support applications by putting you in touch with Regional Leads (where available) who can provide advice and further guidance if required. Should you request further information please do contact us.
Please note, NCIA applicants are no longer expected to provide citations from the RCoA to support their application. The College is also not permitted to rank or edit submissions.
