Launching new Anaesthetic updates

Have you ever wondered what the differences are between our CPD Study Day events and Updates in Anaesthesia, Critical Care and Pain Management?

Every year the College runs four Updates in Anaesthesia, Critical Care and Pain Management events which are three days in length and consist of lectures and workshops. We also run six CPD Study day events per year, consisting of a one or two-day programme. Both events provide an opportunity to connect with specialty experts and peers, and bring back new ideas that will improve your own practice.

Due to their similar structure and function we decided to re-brand these popular events and combine them into a series called Anaesthetic updates. This series will launch in January 2020 and vary in length from a one to three-day programmes.

As part of our continuous endeavour to have a regional focus for our events, seven out of the 10 Anaesthetic updates will be held outside of London, taking in the sights of Liverpool, Nottingham, Birmingham, Bristol, Leeds and Cambridge amongst many others.
