Anaesthetists and Intensivists recognised in 2023 New Year Honours

The Royal College of Anaesthetists is delighted to see Anaesthetists and Intensivists recognised in the 2023 New Year Honours.  

This recognition of our colleagues for their services to the NHS and their specialties is richly deserved. Congratulations to everyone who has been recognised including:

• Lieutenant Colonel Jeyasangar Jeyanathan, Royal Army Medical Corps 
  • OBE for service to the military

• Dr Joel Meyer, Co-Founder Life Lines and Intensive Care Consultant, Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust 
  • MBE for services to the NHS during COVID-19
