2021 Curriculum is now available to read
In late April, the GMC approved the 2021 Anaesthetics Curriculum.
We’re now pleased to inform you that the full curriculum is available to download and read from our website.
The ACCS curriculum has also been published and can be found here.
The 2021 Anaesthetics Curriculum will be implemented on 4 August.
To support you during the implementation stage, the College:
- has developed updated guidance for the dual CCT programmes in conjunction with the Faculty of Intensive Care Medicine
- will integrate the 2021 Anaesthetics Curriculum within the Lifelong Learning platform.
Supporting anaesthetists during their training
We understand that the GMC-mandated implementation of the new curriculum adds to the uncertainty some of our members are experiencing.
Your College wants to address these concerns head-on. As such, we are planning a special webinar, providing our anaesthetists in training members the opportunity to have their questions answered by a panel of College representatives. More details will be shared in due course, including times, dates, how to book and how to submit your questions.
The webinar will be recorded and made available on our website. We will also share written answers to common questions/themes that emerge during the webinar.

We encourage you to use the resources available on our website.
