Biography
After initially doing a Medical Science degree, I qualified from Medical School in 2008, and undertook my anaesthetic training in the Birmingham School of Anaesthesia. I was appointed as a consultant in 2018.
Clinically, my areas of interest are major urological surgery, day case anaesthesia, and cardiopulmonary exercise testing.
My main non-clinical areas of interest are sustainability in healthcare, and wellbeing. Within the College, I sit on the MMD Board, the SAS Committee, and the Ethics Committee. I am also one of the Environmental Advisors to the College.
Outside of work, my areas of interest include watching and playing any and all types of sport (but chiefly football, cricket and rugby) and trying (and sometimes failing) to keep myself fit.
